Phillip Strickland Testimonial — Long time resident of Mt Egerton
To Whom It May Concern,
I have known Terry Delahunty since he began mining in Mt Egerton and having lived next to the mine have seen a vast improvement in the gully running before my property. The gully was covered in blackberry bushes, large stumps and old tree trunks; you couldn’t walk through it if you tried. After cleaning up the mess and mining the area, he planted a large number of native trees and gums. It looks a lot healthier than I have seen it over the past 12 years. He is a credit to the town, always helpful and friendly. After all, Mt Egerton wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the gold mines and clay mine in the town. I wish him all the best for his little venture as a lot of money is spent in the district.
